Netwacky87 Posted May 1, 2011 Author Posted May 1, 2011 Hi Nick, sorry in the delay of replying, I think i may have found out the problem, our user area servers are running Server 2003 R2 with the FSRM quota's enabled (not by using the drive quota) the problem is that HAP cant find a quota server if I add the "usage quota" tag to web.config, using the debug video for the usercard, that also says it cant find a quota server...Although the service is installed and it does return the quota information correctly to the users....weird!

In my case, home directories are in the unc \\chs01\nick$, \\chs01.crickhowell.internal\nick$. Sometimes .net will add a . before the $ sign. using {0} will tell HAP+ to put the username is (as usual), so if a unc is \\chs01\{0} it will then connect to the server defined and ask it for the user's quota information on the logical server drive

Netwacky87 Posted June 3, 2011 Author Posted June 3, 2011 Hi Nick, Sorry to bring up an old thread, just thought an update on this would be good, I've managed to get it working (did a little air punch when it worked) lol I figured it was down to our Smoothwall and its NTLM (I think its the NTLM)...I added our HAP site to the "do not require authentication" bit on the web proxy of smoothwall, and it works a treat now. Just in case anyone else with a smoothwall has a similar issue. One thing that would be great to see would be the UserCard update its quota information when things get added/removed from the user area. Cheers Nick, and cant wait for v7 Mart
nickbro Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 Thanks @mmoseley for that tidbit, the user card is configured to not use proxy servers, unless you use a transparent proxy. (though I could be wrong) v7 is a while off, looking like a summer release, it's a case of finding the time. My computer has been a bit ill lately (dodgy primary hdd)
