I have old XP machines on up to Windows 7 machines on the same domain (we're a k-12 on one campus.)

Currently I update all adobe products, windows updates, etc by hand. Good news is, I get my work out this way. Bad news is it's extreamly time consuming when I do this.

How would you suggest I solve this problem?

Hi

I would use WSUS for free, providing you have MSFT server 2003/2008. Also there is a thread here which discusses/shows how you can use WSUS to deploy 3rd part apps.

Search here.

If you have the money and the time, then I would recommend SCCM - as you can then use SCUP (System Center Updates Publisher) to update Adobe (Reader & Flash IIRC) and a few other apps

Adobe are to speak about their enterprise deployment and patching tools at the conference on June 2nd. This will be webcast live and recorded for later viewing, so it may impart quite a bit of useful info to the attendees to pass on.

And if you don't have the money look at Local Update Publisher as you can then use SCUP...
