Whilst this seems quite funny, as it all has a rather "Borat" sounding storyline copper theft is now one of the most rapidly increasing crimes here in the UK.

Cables are being stolen from underground installations, the most recent here was Fairlop Tube Station where thousands of pounds worth of copper cables were stolen one evening.

So let's not laugh to much at the Armenians, as Britain declines rapidly towards becoming a 3rd world state, the theft of the Virgin Media Cable outside your front door may well be coveted by your hungry neighbours....

You just know that the sort of people who do this would end up stealing VM fibre and having a difficult job trying to sell it to the scrap metal merchant :-)

its forever happening round here on the railways its an odd week where some git dosent delay thousands of commuters by steeling a bit of cable. if caught they ought to be made to pay back the commuters for being late missing meetings etc.
