My contract for my iPhone is due for renewal soon, and as there is no news of the iPhone 5, I'm tempted to either go Android or Win 7. The thing is, after playing with a few android phones in shops, they all feel a bit like an inferior iOS and I don't think I'd be happy with it. The other option is a Window 7 phone. I had a play on my mates and it feels different to Android & iPhone in a good way. I know it's the newer of the smart phone OS's, but I think it will get better over time. I'd like to know what other people think about the Android & Win 7 phones?

I had iPhones since 2G and recently lost my iPhone 4 in a Parisian Taxi and bought an android replacement. Couldn't get used to it after having the iPhone do everything I needed and eventually sold my HTC and went back to a 3GS.

Can't comment on the WinMo but wouldn't touch Android/HTC again after having an iPhone.

I love my Android, it does just about all I want it to how I want it to. My 3 year old granddaughter loves it too, apart from typing (her spelling is atrocious)she can do all she needs as well.

It's a rooted Desire on Cyanogen 7

I have a HTC hd7 and i love it now. took a while to get used to the way it works after moving from an iphone 3g. There is definately a nice feel to the way it works it integrates everything together quite well. the only way to find out for yourself is go into a shop and ask to play around witht he models you are thinking about.

i have an HTC HD2. Capable of Windows Mobile 6.5/ Windows Phone 7 / Android

Have an android rom on it at the moment and it's fantastic. Really can't understand when people say "I can't live without my iphone" as the android OS will do just about anything an iphone can do

Except for lock you into THAT OS and no other!

Oh, have I mentioned Apple's walled garden??

I almost went for the W7 phone, but having heard how they bricked a load, with one of their updates, I thought....

Same old, same old, from Microsoft!

Android it is, then!

For the moment 7 is way more locked down and limited than the other two platforms but it is also possibly the easiest to develop for and in my opinion the cleanest and fastest of them all.
