A technique I sometimes use for passwords - start a goodle search for a word and follow a few obscure links and see if a word (that then gets mangled for complexity reasons) crops up that I like the look of.

Maybe you could adapt the technique for your username - starting with MK-2 I thought the Thin Man nuclear bomb had some possibilities...

I've never understood why people need usernames (rather than their own name) but I'd guess I'm just boring :-)

...er, so you can remain anonymous in case of controversial opinions - or comments against your employer, or stop stalkers etc?

I suppose it is not a good time to mention that I found your secret then? I know you secretly go by the initials LLD and it is down to your favourite song!

I like the idea of taking the name of your favourite cartoon character, using the first 4 letters and then tagging it onto the name of a household cleaning product, less the first character.

Kermuscle, Gonzlash, Animif.

Or do what a friend tried ... a pin in a dictionary. Shame he ended up with "idiot".

Nice one, HT!!!

I wish that's what it meant really! It's a nickname that my uncle gave me. My first car was a little red metro and he used to joke that I'd need to take the front seat out and sit in the back like Hightower off police academy. It stuck from there.

One of my friends from airsoft insists on calling me "commando". It gets some confused looks in the pub when he calls me by it, obviously people think I go around with no underwear
