Spiral text?

My Year 3 Teacher is currently on a Science module and tells me that the Hamilton Trust Website talks about putting Text into a Spiral - if you have the software that can do it - anyone got a clue about the software they might be referring to?

I would suggest something like Paintshop Pro, not entirely sure if Word Art can do a spiral, but then I don't use Word Art very often...

Stumbled across an art class yesterday who were using a site where you can enter some text and then make a line-drawing picture. The site will then type out your chosen word(s) in the shape of the drawing you've just made. I can ask the teacher what site it was if that sounds useful...

While we're on fun shapes for text, take a look at text-align: centaur; (but note that it won't work with Internet Explorer and is poor on Firefox but fine on Safari and Chrome!)
