A displayport or mini display port to vga/dvi adaptor that rather than having a pigtail on it has a (mini) displayport socket instead?

I'm speccing up some multipoint machines based around ATI FirePro 2460 using active adaptors for the required vga/dvi as I believe that will allow me to have 4 DVI or 4 VGA from each card but I'm trying to simplify the cabling slightly.

Cling: thanks for trying to help but that has nothing to do with what was asked for.

bodminman: I had allready looked but the best I can currently come up with a mini displayport to displayport cable and then the use of their displayport to vga cable with the vga integrated.

Cheers.

I think that cable must be 1.83m long in reality as it mentions 6 foot earlier on.

My issues are going from mini display port to the adaptor.

Allthough I'm still encountering issues with active adaptors etc....

You should only need two active adaptors, the card should have two legacy clocks built in which can be used by passive adapters. Question two, why are you using VGA, hooking it up to really old moniters (which we did for our first setup). DVI is much more robust.
