mattx Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 I think Bernie is going a bit ga ga.... BBC Sport - F1 - Mark Webber unhappy with Ecclestone's 'fake rain' idea
Andrew_C Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 And if the race is ALL wet, will they use huge hair driers?
sonofsanta Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 New track refurbishments to be unveiled for 2012 F1 season next week; pundits expect the bumpkerb bits to have pneumatic spikes embedded in them, fired randomly every time a non-Ferrari car drives over them, the start/finish line to be replaced with a ramp through a flaming hoop, and a giant 120foot statue of Bernie Ecclestone built in the middle of each track, so that Mr Ecclestone himself can sit in his office inside the head watching the race from a giant eye of judgement. In 2014 cars will be expected to have VTOL jets running throughout the race in an effort to further reduce downforce and improve overtaking. By 2016 cars will be raced by the human/lizard hybrid first tested with Mr Ecclestone himself. These will be necesssary in order to endure the expanded 78 race season.

russdev Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 Have people not realised that Bernie says these things to gain reaction but then to get people thinking it is futurist 101 as they say.
john Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 When you read that though it sounds like he only chirped up about it after his discussion with Pirelli, he will want to give them a big challenge and make them work hard.
tech_guy Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 Perhaps being a human punchbag has sent him a bit loopy? http://superbitar.files.wordpress.com/2010/12/britain-ecclestone-ad_thumb.jpg?w=801&h=479
