Ok, I have a member of staff who basically wants to be able to wander around the classroom, while still maintaining the use of his whiteboard. Presumably the best way to do this is a tablet?

Alternatively, is there an ipod/phone app that could connect to his laptop and mimic the desktop? Or is my best bet a tablet? If so, how so?

Smart do a wireless tablet, it's a rebadged Wacom. I'm not sure if the smart version has a different firmware.

It might be easier to start cheap and get him a wireless mouse.

EDIT: How about a VNC client, nice and cheap..

EDITEDIT: Or tape his board pen to a broom stick.

I have seen a Promethean Application for iPhone that would do the job.

Do you have a link or proper name? Had a quick gander and can't see anything on the app store.

Edit: Logitech one looks like it may do the trick.

After looking it is a case of linking about 3 applications togther through the apple iphone developer kit. Maybe a tad over the top - I know it is coming soon though!

Sorry about that stpaulscrompton.
