Any Ideas?

Hello everybody just wondered if somebody my be able to help me my friend was featured on ITV1's Daybreak today and has asked me if she would be able to download the video of her appearance from the website I have tried a few different sites but nothing so far and cant seem to find the source code for the video on the page.

any help that you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Camstudio should do it, don't forget to install the lossless codec (CamStudio - Free Screen Recording Software)

Have tried Camstudio but all I seem to get is a very small box to which misses off most of the image. And also doesnt seem to record any sound.

Have tried that thanks. Managed to get the video recorded but looks very jumpy and stuttery also there is no sound.

Hmm, it worked ok for me (it was a bit juttery but not too bad), do you have sound muted/turned down (when recording)?

No everything it turned up high. Is there an alternative that you know of that I could try?

You could try BSR Screen Recorder - looks good but I've not user it myself: BSR Screen Recorder - Screen Capture Software

StreamTransport - Hulu downloader/ Youtube downloader/ FLV downloader helps download hulu TV shows/ record hulu movies/ capture hulu videos. - if it plays on OK the screen - this seems capaple of catching video content..

BSR has the same problem as Camstudio no audio and very stuttery and Streamtransport keeps saying an internet connection failure is occuring stopping the video when inputting the link from playing. but the video works fine when viewed online.

I managed to find an older version of Streamtransport that worked. Thank you both for your help

Glad you got it sorted..

 

The latest streamtransport does work with iplayer though.. bit of a fiddle running the flv's created through QMC to get s sensible format - but it works..
