Serco School Self Assesment

Hi All,

 

We use Serco CMIS and ePortal here, and I was wondering if anyone is using the School Self Review module from Serco ?

 

If so what are your thoughts on it ? I'd rather have some real information from people that use the system than the lies that the sales people tell you.

We appear to have bought into it and then never used it. It looks good from what i've seen, but we've never put it into production.

Hi budgester; I don't know about Serco's School Self Review module . At the heart of the problem in MIS is not the system and not what it can do, but rather the extent to which Heads and Senior Leadership Teams understand data.

 

Duncs and I have been doing some work on this for over a year and we conclude that less than 5% of heads actually understand how data can impact on their schools performance.

 

We've produced an online tool for senior managers to use that looks not at which MIS they use but instead at how effectively they use data across 19 business processes. I commend it to you; let me know how you get on.
