staylor1972 Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 Were just starting to look at rolling out Windows 7 to our desktops and were looking to deploy using WDS. were currently on XP and have been deploying this through Ris I've been through the WDS guide to deploying windows 7 that ravendsl linked to but am having no joy in getting it to work unattended. I've installed wds on a 2008r2 server and gone through all the settings in the guide three times now and seem to be getting nowhere! My test machines are getting an image from the WDS without any problem but it doesn't apply any of the settings in the wdsunattend.xml file or the ImageUnattend.xml file. It just stops on the locale and keyboard settings - the default seems to be english us. in the .xml fil i specified en-gb but read somewhere that this wasn't supported in the wdsunattend.xml file so i've specified en-US but it doesn't automate this just waits on the screen for user input. I've added the ImageUnattend.xml file to the install image but nothing seems to be working! The server that i'm deploying from is a VM running on esx3.5 will this have any bearing on the matter?? I've created the .xml files using the WAIK on the same server that we use to deploy the image. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

manufacture and year of purchase and then the batch number. think the best way to do this is to get the administrator to approve unknown clients and to then approve and name the machines. unless there
