I've got a few study guides knocking about from when i've done my A+ and MCDST. I havent touched them for ages and they take up a lot of room!!

Anyone got any suggestions on what i can do with them? Would members buy them off me?

The A+ is a Sybex and from what i remember the MS ones are official study guides.

EBay. Or our own classifieds.

Alternatively, see if kmount wants them for his charity work in Africa. After we give them kit be nice to teach them how to fix and maintain it. "teach a man to fish..." etc.

We've gone one further than just sending kit, having designed a fully functioning (templated) client-server system (AD/etc) so that any school/community centre has a common server / client environment using open source software (and some mainstream under licensing) GPO deployed all that good stuff so adding new computers, users, etc is very straight forward.

The remote support arrangement at the moment for the pilot deployment is a 3g dongle connected to a server and a few seconds lag ;) Just as well it's documented and doesn't need much doing to it.

Ultimately the local 'PTA' who are incredibly passionate about their children's learning (as opposed to the Gov wasting money) want to be in a position to look after the systems in place.

(Gets his coat from derailing the thread!)

Did you ever hear of that thing, i might have heard of it from Grumbledook, where you register the book on a website, and then tag it, leave it in a public place for someone else to pick up. They go online and register they have it, and then when done with it leave it someplace else.
