Does Google's new Android Market website ignore custom ROMs? -- Engadget

Its ok on mine. HTC hero running cyanogemod 6.1.1

Works fine for me too running Oxygen 1.0.4

 

EDIT: just had a quick look and there is an option under "My Market Account" that allows you to edit devices, I wonder whether users who have a problem have checked their device isn't set to hidden.

 

I can't see any reason Google would expel users of custom ROMS from the market, Android is open source after all so nobody is breaking any rules by doing so.

It's to stop people creating an account, loading it up with apps and duplicating it on cheap Chinese tablets or knock-off devices.
