localzuk Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 Having now finally settled on a sensible business name, which people can spell and doesn't need every letter saying etc... So, please can our resident graphics wizards come up with some form of logo for 'Bonsai Software'?

Have a planned colour scheme? Not at the moment. I'm guessing green should appear somehow, it being a tree and all.

'Fresh' 'Modern' 'Easily readable' 'Comic Sans will get you killed' 'Not too oriental'. Best suited to light colour backgrounds, but would also look good on a black polo shirt.

localzuk Posted February 4, 2011 Author Posted February 4, 2011 Not keen on the outline bit of the Bonsai, makes it impossible to read on light backgrounds. Also, a contrast of 2 colours would be good.

localzuk Posted February 4, 2011 Author Posted February 4, 2011 The tree's too 'apple tree' and I'm not a fan of web 2.0 reflections - they don't print well and look a bit cheesy and over done now. Nice idea though.

I think this is a good one - if the tree was changed to a proper bonsai one and the reflections removed. The font is clear and modern looking - easy to read too 1
