AUP Updates

We are trying to cut down on paper and printing bills. We have updated our AUP again and need everyone to sign it. All pupils and staff have a school e-mail account. Nearly all parents have a school e-mail account.

 

Do you think it would be feasible to send the AUP out via e-mail and receive replies saying if they agree etc. Then just keep the replies in a folder inside the account used to send them out? The AUP contains tick boxes for agreeing to comply, agreeing to their child having an e-mail account and agreeing that we can use their childs photo on the website etc. So I would just have to explain that the reply needs to agree/disagree with the points.

 

Would this be enough?

Yes, I think as John has mentioned this would be the better option.

 

Certainly ensuring the end-users fully read the document and if they disagree and "opt-out" will certainly create less administration overheads from your point of view.
