Stuart_C Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Is anyone using WCBS WebAmunus through their Smoothwall box? If so have you got it working so that you can send baulk E-mails? I can't and need to sort it. The problem seems to arise after you add in a group load of E-mail address and hit "attach" or even "Send" where the page just times out. Having been through it with SW Support and made sure it's in the do not Auth groups etc. etc. we're a bit stupped. It's like the site doesn't do anything, or possibly forgets all the setting and tries to access the internet direct. Irritatingly the E-mail works fine if you go direct and bypass the smoothwall and open up the firewall. Shockingly I am oppoesed to this and want it to work properly.
tom_newton Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Are you using any sort of outbound filtering on the smoothwall? Have you got all the latest patches? I believe there's an extended timeout in one of the later patch sets.
