After image uplioad laptop wont boot, Black screen "windows failed to start................................ Status 0xc000000e The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccesable." any ideas?? this is my first play with win 7 and ntfs resizable, (need ntfs resizable as hdds are different sizes and image is smaller to store with ntfs resiazble) thanks nick
morganw Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 I haven't had a play with Windows 7 and FOG yet but i'm pretty sure that if you have set the OS type to 'Windows 7' the imaging and restore processes will be looking to work with two partitions not one. This might be why you are getting the error. You could try using the default two partitions, or set the OS type to 'Vista' to work with a single partition. Also make sure that you run Fogprep as an administrator as it's functionailty is blocked by UAC.
JB_IT Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 I've been having trouble with this as well... has there been any developments? I've found using the Vista as the O/S Fog decides to mess around with the MBR...leaving me with an unbootable PC
katie.lawe Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 Hi We are having issues with this too, we have found that it is making the first partition (100mb one) C and then the windows partition D. Does anyone have a solution to this please? We have run Fogprep but had no luck as of yet.
