So she asked him to share his knowledge with the rest of the class and you know what he shared.................Well it was this.................as follows: Not forgetting he was only 5 years old at the time............ "Please Miss" he said "They have eight testicles!"...............Well she told us that she nearly wet herself inside laughing like mad at what my son had said but she had to maintain her decorum so she thanked him for his answer and amazingly the rest of the class obviously thought he had said tentacles........phew what a relief and now at 19 years of age he laughs everytime we remind of the fact hehe!! What a joy children are yeah!! 1

I remeber all that Jazz about using resonance to destory things like building and bridges but definitely didn't know that.

But for that they exposed Adam Savage to the full range of frequencies from stadium speakers right next to him so i'm pretty sure that means no amount of sound can cause problems to the body. In this cause it was probably the extreme volume causing the inner ear problems which i suppose could cause motion sickness....

Fact #3: Soundwaves / shockwaves with a force of 35PSI (Usually generated from a Sonic Boom by fireworks or fire crackers, or breaking of sound barrier) can injure the human body. Fact #4: Soundwaves / shockwaves with a force of 100PSI (generated by C4 explosion at close range, hand grenade explosion) can kill.

featured_spectre Posted January 10, 2011 Author Posted January 10, 2011 the US Army tested it by generating the force using a pinch (EMP/Shockwave generator), and using shockpads (which test PSI) and the conclusion was if the explosion and shrapnel left the person unharmed, the shockwave would do the job, and they are now working on devices that could generate the same force and fit into a grenade sized device.

If you were far too brainy/nerdy, and you could calculate the energy required to break a molecular bond, and the frequency at which that energy is matched, you could cause the molecular bonds to break. Within the human body, the principle is that the body operates by signals sent down the nerves from the brain, and these signals have a frequency attached to them that the brain operates on. In theory, if you directed the right frequency at the right place, you could interupt the signals from the brain. The chances of finding the exact frequency that works on the exact part of the body that you want to control is really damned small. Shockwave effect or exceedingly high db sounds is a lot more likely to have the desired effect, since inner ear's are rather sensitive.
