LosOjos Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 The long weight was a main stay when I worked at Pizza Hut, we used to send all the newbies over to Maccy's (who would play along every time, and sent their's over to us too). I sent one girl over and she didn't come back for about half an hour! Fool.
korifugi Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 I've seen staff in the pub send newbies to the other pub over the road for ice making solution too...
mattx Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 I just did if it makes you feel better Thanks - I feel nice and warm inside now and no, I've not pi55ed myself.
Admiral208 Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 When i used to work in a garage, we sent the apprentice for a box of sparks for the spark plugs It was about a half hour ride on his bike there and back!!
mjs_mjs Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 we sent our work experience boy for a skirting board ladder, and he came back with one... custom made with lolly pop sticks by DT for him. LOL.

TechMonkey Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 We entertained our selves and kept two Scouts busy for most an afternoon by sending them over to another camp for items like these. The other camp had the last laugh though as they ended up managing to send two boxes of their lunch waste nicely packaged up under the guise of sky blue paint with yellow spots (they'd run out of tartan and couldn't mix yellow paint with sky blue spots you see). The kids even got into some old gear ready to paint the trailer we had said we got the paint for.
GrumbleDook Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 Some broadband pipe cleaners ... we all know the reason the internet is slow is that the cables get full of dirt when people have been viewing pr0n.
