gl2u2 Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 I'm trying to install Sophos Update Manager but am getting the following error: "Error 25079. The uer account Curriculum\SophosUpdateMgr may be invalid. LookupAccountName returned error 1332 while using the user credentials supplied." Any help would be greatly appreciated.
3s-gtech Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 Does the user already exist in AD? You can get this error when reinstalling - it's safe to ignore as it tries to create the user but it's already there. 1
gl2u2 Posted December 9, 2010 Author Posted December 9, 2010 Hi, no, the user does not already exist. Unfortunately, I can't simply ignore the error as after the installer reports the error it aborts the installation. But, thank you for the feedback.
