SimpleSi Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 Well one of my "trusty" HP8000s has finally had its chips and since the school has a nice color photocopier inbetween Juniors and Infants, I'm just going to get a little B&W laser for the junior corridor. Any recommendations? regards Simon
Haptic Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 Probably the HP 2055dn Simon...they are currently on an £80 cashback promotion also. Hope it helps! Chris 1
Poco Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 Hi, i have just ahd a look at what is available an on the HP range i would agree with Chris. Outside of HP i would recommend a Kyocera FS-1370DN. toner pricing is higher but lasts a lot longer so is cheaper in how much you will spend in a year. FN-GM Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 We have some of the HP 1320 printers. They are really good and cheap to run. At the time they cost us £50 each 1
localzuk Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 (edited) My choice would be a Brother HL-5240. We have a fleet of 5250DNs here and they're basically the same machine. Hardy little machines, with an easy to clear paper path should a jam occur. They're also running a £50 cashback or 3 year warranty offer on them at the moment too. Edited December 3, 2010 by localzuk

dgsmith Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 Not sure of which printer to get, but where do you get your white toner from? Our white toner comes from the sky - enough outside at the moment to last us past Christmas I think! I think everyone else has the same idea though as there seems to be less and less as each day passes..
GREED Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 HP P2XXX series, awesome small office laser used dozens in different organisations. Reliable and decent quality.

We've got a few 5250DN's around the school. Great little printers. Handy to have duplex capabilities also.
