That's "Windam" to all non-Norfolk speakers.

One of my team is off to parts foreign (no, not just out of Norfolk), and as regular users of EduGeek (as lurkers if nothing else), here seemed the obvious spot to find people who might be interested in filling the role.

Basically the role is for a Windows networks familiar CIS Technician who is skilled in multi-media applications and systems. We use "Communications and Information Systems (CIS)" because we're responsible for everything (Network, Phones (landlines and mobile), AV, Business Continuity, Data Protection, etc. as well as the core teaching and administration services) and so are differentiated from the teaching department.

The College defines and runs all its own services, with minimal outside support :D, and therefore provides a very diverse environment in which to develop skills and experience.

Full details are lodged on the College's main web site at http://www.wymondhamcollege.org/Join/As-a-member-of-staff-48/CIS-Technician-Multimedia-723

£17161-19126 per annum. Closing date is 7th Dec, so don't be shy.

Dave

Director of CIS Strategy

A couple more odd spellings here,

Featherstonehough, pronounced Fanshaw, and Cholomondley, pronounced Chumley. Don't you simply love English names?

Oh Matt, you beat me to it, I was racking my brain trying to remember that one! I used to live in Reepham, (Reefam) but to any outsiders it was Reep-ham.

OP, i'd love to return to Norfolk but I'm confident I would fall seriously short of the job spec!

We will be re-advertising this one shortly because, as was always a possibility, the run up to Christmas was not a time a lot of people are job hunting, and we had too few applications from which to make a considered selection.

The closing date for applications is Wednesday 26th January at noon.
