LosOjos Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 Might have to have a crack at this one, been wanting to get back in to shape for a while now... but it might have to be done in 10 sets of 10 each over the day for the first couple of weeks!
sidewinder Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 Like the idea but theres absolutely no way I'd even manage a week of that
featured_spectre Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 I couldnt do the run, but the rest is pretty easy for me as I do 50 of each in the morning and at night
kevbaz Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 Ive got Kinect, so dont need this old fashioned style of exercise
GrumbleDook Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 I can't do the run but interested in the rest. I might do 10 mins of step on the Wii Fit instead of the run.
GREED Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 Sounds like a plan. Been out of running for a couple of months but should be able to get back into that easy enough.
TechMonkey Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 If you are going for the 100 push ups then take a look at one hundred push ups. Some friends did it and they found it a good guide to follow.
Fatmas Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 If you are going for the 100 push ups then take a look at one hundred push ups. Some friends did it and they found it a good guide to follow. I can vouch for that, it works a treat... To be fair I only did it for the first few weeks but even then I noticed a big improvement.
jpaterson Posted November 29, 2010 Author Posted November 29, 2010 Remember folks, it doesn't have to be done in an single session, you can spread the activities throughout teh day. However, you can't double up. If you do 70 press-ups in one day, you still have to 50 the next, same for sits. Xmas day is optional, although encouraged. If you have health complications, halve the targets.
jpaterson Posted November 29, 2010 Author Posted November 29, 2010 100 Push ups and 100 Sit ups a day? Think I'll just run a mile Awwww, come on... at least give it a bash. Gotta start somewhere ;-)
Sarconia Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 100 sit ups.. fine run a mile... fine 100 press ups... *dies* Still, I'm on a fitness bender at the moment so I'm up for this It should be interesting at least..
witch Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 100 sit ups.. fine run a mile... fine 100 press ups... *dies* I'm with you. I hate press ups I do 150 sit ups a day so that isnt an issue
featured_spectre Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 I do 50 of each in the morning, and at night (exceptions being when I do martial arts and you can add another 20 press ups and another 50 sit ups)...running not so much as I have tendonosis which pretty much makes walking a distance painful
Out_of_Sync Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Sounds like a great idea, together with quitting smoking...perhaps i can survive
