ICT Technician and Webmaster

(Scale 5: £18,907 – £20,736; 37 hours, 52 weeks a year)

 

We are looking to boost our capacity to support the maintenance of the school’s ICT and network infrastructure. We are also looking to develop our Virtual Learning Environment by providing additional technical and creative support for teaching staff.

 

As well as general ICT support and development working alongside our Systems Manager, this post will primarily focus upon:

 

(a) developing and maintaining the College’s VLE and website, including supporting teaching staff to develop their presence on the VLE, maintaining and designing pages on the VLE and website, and developing related resources and facilities available through the VLE; and

 

(b) maintaining the school’s ICT systems generally, including software, hardware and networking. Successful applicants will be expected to deputise in cases of absence of the Network Manager.
