Dos_Box Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 Another free tool. It's limited to 2 admins and 100 users, but is worth a look http://downloads-zdnet.com.com/SysAid-Help-Desk-and-Inventory/3000-2651_2-10432310.html
Netman72 Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 i was trialling a bit of software called Helpmaster Pro from PRD software. it's not free but you can get a free download to trial: http://www.prd-software.com.au/ it's an Australian company. I haven't looked at buying it direct but i know you can buy it through your ICT reseller. I use NS Optimum but i'm sure most resellers will be able to get hold of it.
edie209 Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 Thanks for this dos_box it could be perfect for me, only one admin and the only users would be staff so I think I will download it and give a try.
MartinDixon Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 We've been using trouble ticket at http://www.troubleticketexpress.com/ it's great, flexible enough to be useful but not so complicated to scare users off tho at present it's mostly used for myself and 2 other techs
katie.lawe Posted June 22, 2006 Posted June 22, 2006 Microsoft have relased an Access template that is a helpdesk, it is fully customisable with some knowledge of access databases, I am about to roll it out to my tech staff so will see how it goes, but looks good after trialing it and not got it to fall over yet! http://office.microsoft.com/en-gb/assistance/HA012341591033.aspx Katie Lawe Network Manager Beverley High School
plexer Posted June 22, 2006 Posted June 22, 2006 I use NS Optimum but i'm sure most resellers will be able to get hold of it. You poor thing. Ben
