Netwacky87 Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Hi All! Having a problem with Moodle at the moment, its a brand new setup and we're going to implement it over xmas I think, When I upload a SCORM package and click on Save and Display course, it bombs out on me after about a min and displays a blank page, Ive googled this and some people have suggested using zip/unzip external programs, which ive done but nada!... Anybody come across this? Mart
frosty Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 What version of SCORM are you trying to upload to you Moodle instance?
Netwacky87 Posted November 17, 2010 Author Posted November 17, 2010 What version of SCORM are you trying to upload to you Moodle instance? This one is version 1.2
frosty Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Hum...I had this before and ended up going back to the SCORM supplier. Turned out to be a fault with the way it was compiled. That said, I have just tried the original SCORM on my new test Moodle 2 and it works:confused:. The other think to check is the size of the SCORM you are uploading. If it is big have you tried unzipping it and creating the directory manually and then linking to the imsmanifest.xml?
Netwacky87 Posted November 17, 2010 Author Posted November 17, 2010 Funny you should say that... Just downloaded and installed Moodle 2.0 RC2 and its worked no problem....Very strange! Thanks for that bit of info though!
gaz003 Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 I also seem to have the same issue I downloaded and installed xampp, created the database and setup moodle version 2.4.3+ I have created a course and now go to upload a SCORM package we have from boardworks It just stops at a blank screen? Has anyone any ideas how I can resolve this issue I have changed the upload max size settings to something silly to ensure it isn't this causing the issue Many Thanks
CyberNerd Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 I have had the same problem in 2.4 After checking the sever load I recall that I needed to increase the maximum time that a script can run in the php.ini. After this it still bombed out but the SCORM file did decompress successfully.
gaz003 Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 Ok I have got a little further with the problem. I can successfully upload single file scorm packages and they display OK If I try to upload the main scorm file it just sits at the blank screen the file size is around 138MB I have changed the maximum settings in the php file to silly settings like 500 5000 but still have the issue any ideas?
