sandeep2504 Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 i bought this for ps3 the other day for £12.50 very impressed so far. anyone else given it a spin?
MK-2 Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 its quite a good game. plus quite a few funny easter eggs to find (like the hatch from LOST). vehicles are quite good, and fairly easy to control, weapons are ok, missions are just varied enough (not on GTA scale) to be enjoyable. voice acting is a bit.....hit and miss, but graphically i can't fault it. flying up high and looking over the whole island does look impressive
irsprint84 Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 I did love playing it but I find it stupid that men randomly spawn if spotted and they so repetitive. I just wanted sometimes to sneak in to bases there is only one course of action, which is disappointing
sandeep2504 Posted November 10, 2010 Author Posted November 10, 2010 love that vid! i would say its a combination of uncharted, batman arkhum asylum and gta got with the the saboteur for £25 from play.com i will have to look out for those Easter Eggs sounds like fun
MK-2 Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 the easter eggs are fabulous. the lost hatch, the bubble gun, the beached whale, etc. and its an immense island. even in a jet plane it will take about 5 mins to cross the island (real time)
3s-gtech Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 One of my favourite games ever. The depth is breathtaking, even after the story mode is over. It can get repetitive storming army bases, but there are multiple ways to do it: duck and cover, air assault, minigun rampage, etc etc. You can even just go on an artifact hunt, up into the mountains. Then, try attaching enemies to various things with the grappling hook - passing cars, helicopters, bridges. My tip would be to not rush the story mode, and to do plenty of things away from the missions - I'm now 65 hours in, and I'm completing villages and cities, army bases and artifact hunting now.
robertsenior Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 i have found the game to get very repetative and i find my self turning the game off after about 1 - 2 hours of playing the campaign, also i tend to start wondering off and trying to find places i have not been to yet just so i can quick jump to them instead of travelling there because as some one mentioned earlier it can take ages to get across the whole island,
