Wondered if anyone can help.

We have a new cachepilot based around weighted phrasing. Turning out to be a complete nightmare. Our internet is disgustingly slow at peak times of day, with an average page like google.com taking upto 10 minutes to load in some cases.

We had some debug software ran on our CP showing that the maximum number of processes kept getting reached.

EasyNet and Equinet not exactly being helpful.

Any idea of what solutions we can do to sort this.

Did I mention we have no money and are desperate to sort this. It is bringing us to our knees and nobody is listening.

we have been Equiinet customers for over 10 years and have gone through many up and downs with filtering . We use netpilots not cachepilots but i think same options exist .

If you turn of the filtering is it going as fast as you expect?

what speed is your connection ?

which filtering is the box using ?

we had ours changed to the smoothwall version of filtering which has the database on the box instead of n2h2 version that used to go off and check with servers in Canada i believe

Not sure. I will need to check.

The users who bypass the network filtering (technical team), do not suffer any issues which implies it is the box. I will need to investigate. I need a solution quickly.
