GREED Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 Unsure if this is the correct location for this, and may not be the correct forum to ask: My company is about to become a Prometric test centre (for MS certs), and have found out all but the following key details: How much does each test cost? How much can/do we make out of each test (I know the tests are standard prices, but how much do we, if anything, get per test)? Does the admin course (annually) cost us anything? All help appreciated!
featured_spectre Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 I believe you get something like 10% per test taken...so if a test is £80, then you get £8. That's how it worked in my old place (I worked in a college part time before here), but we had thousands of people taking tests every year. The admin course should cost around £100 per person per year if you continually renew the skill set... However whilst you are at it, get your team qualified as Microsoft Certified Trainers, you should have 3 pre paid exam vouchers as part of becomming a prometric test centre... 1
GREED Posted October 31, 2010 Author Posted October 31, 2010 I know we get money if we hit certain thresholds of tests taken per quarter, which is a fine structure. Just trying to find prices from Prometric is like getting blood from a stone!
featured_spectre Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 Best people to ask are Microsoft themselves, they will give you a much more clear cut way of how it happens and what happens etc.
SteveJ Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Paid £88 for a Prometric MS MCP test through e-Academy in Cardiff if it helps 1
