Which is an issue as I need the hotfix that fixes the backgrounds not displaying properly on windows 7 when applied through group policy, KB977944 I have the 32bit version but I need the 64 bit version. Does anyonw have a copy or way I can download it? Or failing that should i trust The Hotfix Share Portal which it seems to be on but I was a little unconvinced about downloading patches from random sites...
Arthur Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 I have used The Hotfix Share on several occasions and it has been fine. A good thing to do once you have downloaded the hotfix would be to verify the digital signature to ensure the EXE hasn't been tampered with.

I've just got two requested hotfixes from MS (namely KB976586 and 2028749) as they had detailed both the x86 and x64 files affected in the articles but only had the x86 hotfixes available for request.... thankfully, they have the x64 ones now Think i might get that one you mention too while im at it, as we do set a BG initially via GP etc Cheers
