Fallout 3 kept me occupied for months. Unfortunately I do not have the money for New Vegas at the moment even at this great price.

 

Fallout and Fallout 2 are old school PC Games but have a loyal following.

I missed the boat with Fallout (even though a friend of mine swears by the franchise) I might have to pick it up when I've finished wrestling with God of War Trilogy...

Dam, I loved Fallout 3 although was a little upset at the ending! Will definitely get New Vegas but should I get it for the PC or Xbox?

I think that Fallout 1 and 2 were PC only but I might be wrong.

Correct - PC only I'm afraid and they look very 'dated' when compared to Fallout 3 / New Vegas.

 

Classic storyline though explaining the vaults and how it happened, also gives you more info about NCR and the Brotherhood of Steel.

I doubt very much my Acer X480G at home packs the necessary wallop to get a good framerate out them.

It easily would - these games are ancient.

 

Fallout was released in 1997 and Fallout 2 in 1998.

Ahh i must have been confused with FarCry or something similar...I didn't realise these games were as old as my socks!

Fallout 3, best perk? For me it has to be either the Mysterious Stranger or the perk that added more chance of gory explosions.

Just the ability to give Fawks eugene, the special mini-gun. Damn near unstoppable and kept enemies off me long enough to sneak up and crit from behind with the death claw gauntlet.
