Old Srv Records in DNS

Hello,

 

I've notice that one of our old domain controllers srv records is still knocking about in DNS.

 

It appears under the

 

_tcp directory of:

 

tapi3directory

ForestDnszones

Domain zones

 

Do i need to update this static entry to a domain controller that is in service or is it safe to delete.

 

The entry is:

 

_ldap Servuce Location (SRV) [0][100][389] server.domain.ac.uk.local Static

you might take a look at this tool:

 

DNSSrvRec

 

but also a manual delete will do the trick
