Sharepoint 2010 - Checking in Documents

Hi,

 

I am using SharPoint 2010 with Server 2008 64 BIT. I am using a document library with several documents stored within. I am using the Check Out method modifying the document and then checking it back in. When I check it back in and click on the new uploaded document it does not display the updates it displays the old content. I asked my colleague to check the new uploaded document and he too got the old document. It seems the only way i can see the newly modified document is by changing the name of the document

 

I think it is something with our LEA Squid Server??

Put your sharepoint 2010 URL in the execption list of your proxy server settings in IE or what ever browser you are using.

I have placed the URL into the Internet Explorer exceptions but still the document is not displaying the updated version.

Have you got content approval turned on for that library? (check document library settings > Versioning settings) and if so have you setup permissions correctly...

What are the correct permissions for the library?

 

I have tried the Check In/Out procedure logged in with a Site Collection administrators account.

It seems to work the first time but after that the document is not updated. Only when you rename it??
