Or maybe Fog Creek. Personally, I think some of those photos look like everyone is trying just a bit too hard to look like they're working in the world's coolest offices. I remember hearing a story about the business start-up department at MIT. They were housed in run-down ex-army barracks, just a bunch of cheap pre-fab buildings tucked away on the edge of campus somewhere. Then they got some funding for a fancy new office and went around asking assorted scientists and so on what would be good facilities for a new lab or offices. Them, of course, it took 3 years or so to get built, by which time everything had moved on and half the new facilities were now unwanted. It turns out the old pre-fabs which no one cared about (or, equally importantly, saw on tours of the campus or health-and-safety checks) were great places to work - you could have an idea over the weekend, come in to work on the Monday, explain the idea to your work colleuges ("It's a great idea, but we'll need a bit more space - that wall's going to have to go") and be working on your idea instead of the facilities planning by Monday evening.
