We are looking at introducing a Ruckus network to our mainly wired current set-up.

The main driver behind this is the imminent introduction of 60+ Netbooks, with more to follow in the near future.

The school is quite old, thick heavy walls, two floors and annex. Reading about Ruckus, I guestimate we might need 5-8 points, but I need to be sure where to site these for optimum performance and cost effectiveness. 802g speeds should suffice our needs and keep costs down.

I was wondering if anyone can recommend any reliable 3rd party suppliers who would also conduct a site survey and maybe possible installation (although I could arrange the latter)!

We are based in West London.. Any help and assistance appreciated.:)

Thanks

Thanks for the heads up guys.. Did Netctrl offer an on site survey and an installation facility? What was the company like to deal with?

Appreciate the assistance :)

@EN4 - yes they do! Very good company to deal with ... I know my boss will be along and sing their praises but they really were excellent .... went with them for recabling our entire school too!

I used to work for a IT reseller known on these forums for providing Ruckus, But will say that Net Ctrl specialise in Ruckus Managed Wireless and are worth giving a shout,

I can highly recommend Net Ctrl, they have surveyed me and been excellent through our process for various grants and capital project bids requiring fresh quotes to meet needs etc. Having bought from them in a previous school I can highly recommend them and the support you receive from them :)

EN4. I will recommend CPLtd for you. Whilst Net-Ctrl are good at what they do, they were unable to beat the pricing offered by CP-Ltd.

Also with CP-Ltd, I got a great deal in terms of support from the moment I rang up requesting a site survey right through until my premium support ran out, and even beyond they have also been helpful!
