mavhc Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 Question is: what do they get? Do they own the software, the source code? Permission to update it, port it to other OSes, extract the algorithm and use that in other software? Can they release the code as FLOSS?
vikpaw Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 You'd have to check with @PhilNeal I'm pretty sure they just get it for free with no support. I recall getting contacted to see if I had any old install disks, or manuals for the project. I doubt any other rights are conveyed along with it.
