TreePie ----> AT a glance who's eating your diskspace

Just thought I'd let you know about TreePie.

I've been having some problems with certain departments eating a lot of space and treepie has been invaluable in tracking down what space is used where.

Basically you give it a directory and it gives you a pie chart of the contents. Showing you which folders contain the most data. Beats right clicking until you find the culprit.

Very nice, its a lot more lightweight than some of the others. I used to use TriDcomm to view file usage graphically with the added advantages of it being a file manager. I would be interest to see how this tool evolves in the future.

You guys have seen my customised windirstat? http://www.edugeek.net/forums/edugeek-litedirstat/17428-latest-litedirstat-release-changelog.html#post173579

Basically I stripped out the drive select ui etc and all you do is give people shortcuts with the paths premade and it will let staff etc audit their space.

I have a vbs as well we use which only allows specific paths to be passed.

No I haven't seen it until this moment :)
