Cat5 Connector wiring

Just bought some new Cat5 UTP's but the colour coding on them is weird so I can't figure out which wire goes where?? - see picture attached

Top right to left. white orange - orange - white green - Green

botton right to left . Blue - Whit Blue - White Brown - Brown.

 

Patch in a small fly lead and test it to the patch pannel.

Just imagine a line down the middle of each set, so you can see a solid block of green, next to that is green/white etc...

It's appears to be labelled for 568-B and 568-A. (Big B on the outside, and what looks like a small A in the middle, just under "CAT5e").

 

NB, I can't definitely tell which is orange in that photo - not sure if it's the printing on the part or the photo.

 

If you're using B (and you probably are), punch down according to the outer colours.

Thanks for the replys, particularly Plexer as I think you got it squire - Edugeek is the business, what would we do without it - struggle that's for sure!!
