COSHH assessments

Does anyone else on here have to fill out COSHH assessment forms for the various sprays, cleaners and wipes that we use for cleaning computers?

 

They're so mind-numbingly boring!

 

Especially as every company makes exactly the same product but we need a form for each one with the details filled out.

Since the regulations deal with specific chemical components in the cleaners etc, can't you just bulk-assess based on that? i.e "products x,y,z contain $foo and we mitigate risks by not leaving it lying around where hobos could drink it?"

Nope, we have a set form we have to fill out for each product, outlining any handling requirements, shelf life, possible health side effects etc...

Got to roll with you on that one M8 been there and done that and yes it is mind numbing.

Have you done the risk assessments also on how they are to be used and by whom and have they had the relevant training and what PPE do they wear.
