Sharepoint with Google Analytics

Has anybody tried using Google Analytics with Sharepoint? I have had a quick search on the internet and people seem to have mixed views whether it works or not.

 

If you did get it to work, i'd be interested in any pointers you may have.

Hi

 

we have used google analytics on both our MOSS 2007 and Sharepoint 2010 site. per site collection you want to monitor you will have to add the code provided by google in the master page and ensure all sub sites in the site collection are using the master page with the code in it
