Ugrading from AP2 to ActivInspire

Having a nightmare at the minute.

 

Because of gettings a new NAS-Server, save paths have changed and AP2 does not support the paths, I have been advised to upgrade to ActivInspire, which is fair enough. However the problem I have come across now is that none of my AP2 serial numbers are recognised by the AI software, which is resulting in me only being able to run the trial version, and its asking me to register ever time I want to ope the program.

As a push, I have even resorted to using the serials off the boards, but still o luck there. I have even been into the registry of another machine with AI and tried using the serial key there, yet its not giving me the option to use it.

 

Please help, this is causing a massive headache.

Hi,

 

The AS2 serial number will not work in Inspire unfortunately.

 

What you are entitled to though, is a 'free' upgrade to Inspire Pro with your existing serial number.

 

If you go to Promethean Planet , and download Inspire again, and choose the 'Software Update' route, it will give you the software to download (again), and also send you an email with your 'Validation key' for Inpsire. Once you enter this, you should be good to go!

 

If your struggling, the Tech Support guys will probably be your best bet (0844 855 2201), and they should be able to talk you through getting a license key for Inspire.
