gizmo2005 Posted July 2, 2010 Posted July 2, 2010 ive seen this model in another school and the screen flickers, is this something to do with the make or model???
WStore_Dan Posted July 2, 2010 Author Posted July 2, 2010 Hi gizmo2005 This isnt something I'm aware of I'm afraid but I can try and look in to this and get some feedback from other customers that have taken these. I'll let you know ASAP. As far as I'm aware, there are no problems at all with screen flicker though I hope this helps
featured_spectre Posted July 2, 2010 Posted July 2, 2010 Dan, I have come across this problem in the Academy down the road with the exact same model as above, straight out of the box. I think HP when we phoned said there was a faulty batch and they were to be recalled (well the ones we had at the academy anyway) and replaced.
MYK-IT Posted July 2, 2010 Posted July 2, 2010 Just received a flyer from HP stating a minimum of £150 cashback off new HP Notebooks when you trade in any old PC or notebook, not sure if this model if valid? They have the HP ProBook 4520s WK506EA (Intel Core i3-350M 2.26Ghz, Windows 7, Spill resistant keyboard, wi-fi etc) for £360 + VAT (after £150 cashback).
WStore_Dan Posted July 2, 2010 Author Posted July 2, 2010 You are indeed correct, you can find details here The above model is included in this offer as are a wide range of other models listed here Please get in touch if you require further details Regards
MYK-IT Posted July 2, 2010 Posted July 2, 2010 Just read the terms and conditions, the delivery costs could be costly sending them your old tower base unit and crt monitor! (although HP do contribute £10 towards delivery)
WStore_Dan Posted July 2, 2010 Author Posted July 2, 2010 But sending them a bunch of laptops back shouldnt cost too much?
