Open Source converting / DVD burning software

I'd like to know what software people are using, the other posts on this seem a bit old, so could be some new ones out there. I've had a bit of trouble finding a burning programme for mpg to DVD. Please give recommendations / suggestions. Thanks.

Also found this: Free DVD Creator: Create & Burn DVD from AVI DivX MPEG WMV MP4 to DVD.

Never used it, but it looks quite easy to use.

 

Note: you may need a seperate program to burn the actual DVD, in which case I recommend: CDBurnerXP: Introduction and News or The Official ImgBurn Website

P.S. I think DVDStyler is the only one that's Open Source while the others are Freeware.

I did give DVDStyler a go a while back. Audio was slightly out of sync, but that could have been an issue with my PC/Codecs and perhaps could've been fixed if I bothered to research it, plus it's been updated a few times since then.

DVD Flick is the easiest one I've used, open source or commercial

 

Drag & drop, set a menu \ chapters and leave it to encode, job done! You might need to do one little GPO tweak for ImgBurn to pick up DVD writers when running as limited users and also set a project folder (I do it with a logon script) then it's away...

CD Burner XP (cdbxp) it's open source and good, it's on all our computers as standard
