What file sizes are they uploading? Moodle error messages are pretty uncommunicative sometimes, and I think I have seen this when trying to upload files which are above the course/server limit.

Well I usually rip with Next DVD ripper and then convert with Super and get good results. Not sure if it's the best method but I haven't needed to look for anything better. Just noticed that Next Ripper has a convert to flv option but haven't ever used it.

Adobe livecycle does a good job of this as well (but costs). This page has some interesting info about data security and Google docs.

Could you give a bit more info? There are lots of ways of doing this. Just curious - are Google docs out of the question because of an eSafety issue?

We use the questionnaire quite a bit - you can find it here Alternatively Survey Monkey is a bit more user friendly. -
Word of warning: make sure you patch up to the latest level before you start - I didn't and now cannot continue the main quest as I cannot exit project purity without the console freezing. Fantastic game but I have just stopped playing it because of this bug. If anyone knows a fix PLEASE let me know.

You can load your own textures into the preset screensavers. Choose Display properties > Screen saver > 3D Flying objects > Settings > Style > textured flag > Texture. Then load the image of your school logo as a bitmap. Not sure how you roll this out to all of the other pc's though.
