everton4europe Posted December 15, 2006 Author Posted December 15, 2006 what anti virus do you use? grisoft network edition
bishopsgarthstockton Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 can you disable the automatic trojan detection on your antivirus? i would prob wait to every one has gone home and disable the antivirus on the server. have you been intouch with RM support?
everton4europe Posted December 15, 2006 Author Posted December 15, 2006 i have been in touch with rm support and they are very vague and just say they have had this problem for a while but never found a cure. but if you run the msi files it will work. but doing it this way it does not install the datastores
bishopsgarthstockton Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 how can they sell software, when they know fine bloody well, it is not working. i personally hate RM with a passion. have they given you the right software package for server 2003 and not for any other OS? in other words it def goes on a server and not a client?
chrbb Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 We had this with Nt server, never worked as a server install, I got round it by installing as standalone on each machine, a pain but the only way we could get it to work.
bishopsgarthstockton Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 yeh i figured that was prob the route you would have to go down. just means more work keeping it up and running. but can ya do hey
