randle Posted June 18, 2010 Posted June 18, 2010 Hi We've recently had to replace the printer our Cover Supervisor had. She uses NovaT4 still and now when printing cover slips it comes out quarter the size!! All other printing appears to be fine so not sure why this has changed. I've checked print setup and all appears fine but must be missing something. Anyone else had this happen?
Sivadam Posted June 18, 2010 Posted June 18, 2010 If it is an HP Printer then it is a known issue with certain models! If you are a SIMS school you ought to be using Cover7 by now. Cover in NT4 has not been supported for a good while!
Jeremy69 Posted June 18, 2010 Posted June 18, 2010 With HP printers the best solution is to install an older and fairly standard driver instead of the specific one for the model. Even something as old as an HP4 driver does the job usually.
TLARWise Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 I had this type of issue when using a PCL6 compatible driver, worked fine when changed to the older PCL5c driver.
randle Posted June 21, 2010 Author Posted June 21, 2010 I tried installing older drivers but just didn't seem to want to have it but do have an alternative now. We have PDFCreator installed on all computers so printing to this then to the HP printer works fine. Thanks for the suggestions though.
