Used to use clonezilla but fog looks like more fun (and less pain); install script is currently failing - goddamn php on centos....

Upgraded to 0.29 from 0.28, now upgrading Ubuntu to 10.04

I've put Fog 0.29 on an Ubuntu 10.04 box - everything seems to have gone well, although I had to swap the Kernel out with another one from the Sourceforge d/l page before my Samsung NB30s would image properly...

They are doing a good job of joining kernels together and improving hardware support.... overall I'm very impressed.

 

I've got less hardware interruptions on the Dell 960's and a speed boost as well when multicasting.

 

Remember that one kernel may not be the magic bullet, and that some models will require custom kernels once they are PXE booted, or entered manually via the .CSV
