we have just bought a batch of the HP cq10-101sa for use in classrooms. Have installed windows xp pro. But have run into a issue with the wireless. I have the latest drivers on for xp. But when i try and join to a network (Netgear wg103) it will authenticate (I have tried WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK and shared key) it recognises the password. but will not get an IP address (Ihave tried a static address but it will not allow network access). But when i set the access point to open with no password it will work. I have spoken to netgear and they say it is a driver issue on the netbook. Spoken to HP (argued) and they say there could be a problem and wanted files sent to them (had to do it from a xp home machine which gives the same problem as they will not support xp pro)

I am at a dead end and open to suggestions.

The wireless card in them is a Athereos AR 9285
