I've used my LA provided email address and just noticed that my profile shows me at being at another school in the county...?! Software downloading okay and my students in D&T are going to love me tomorrow when I email them the link!

gussing this wouldnt allows us to install it downstairs in our dt room, has we aint got it installed on any computers (This would be for 20 computers, thats it, we wouldnt install it anywhere else)

"Important Note: The Autodesk Student Version software incorporates all the functionality of our professional licenses, but includes a print banner making the software inappropriate for professional, commercial, or for-profit purposes. Autodesk Student Version software may not be used in the classroom or lab for instructional purposes, or for commercial or for-profit purposes. Annual licenses of Autodesk student software are not eligible for product upgrade or transfer to a commercial license."

 

So it is for student personal use only.

We've got students who have outgrown the design 'software' that we have on our school computers and who I know will install this on their computers at home and run with it. I've just passed the site details on to a friend who works at the local uni and his students are now all frantically downloading what they need!

Although I dislike that you can't seem to download a ISO off them, you need to download that little installer that then downloads the application =( unless they changed that since i've used it.

The first school that registered would of marked that domain, so yeah that is why that is happening.

With this offer, it's a yearly thing, apparently. Angrytechnician picked it up as well last year although I missed it then. Annoying because I've been making do with an old knackered version of CorelDraw and could have been using Maya all this time instead!
